SD Facilitation Training -- This Spring 2022!
The Sustained Dialogue Facilitation Training is a FREE 16-hour training to build your skills in identity awareness, relationship building, and dialogue facilitation. Over the course of 10 training sessions, attendees will engage in facilitation skill development, learn about Sustained Dialogue's dialogue to action model, and deepen their understanding of identity in the context of power, privilege and oppression. This training provides participants with the skills to succeed in our increasingly diverse workforce and communities.
Upon completing this training, participants may choose to continue their involvement with Sustained Dialogue by participating in a year-long Facilitation Certification program.
This training is free and is open to all MSU students, faculty, and staff.
Sustained Dialogue at MSU is comprised of students, faculty and staff who come together to thoughtfully dialogue about difference, similarity, and social change. By participating in engaged dialogue, the aim is to promote holistic understanding by bridging gaps between traditionally opposing groups. Sustained conversations encourage and embrace diversity, resulting in actions that are deliberate, thoughtful, and enduring. This group is part of a larger network called Sustained Dialogue Campus Network.
